About the Film

Mouni, a passionate actor disillusioned with Mumbai’s commercialism, dreams of moving to Europe to perform Shakespeare. In an online audition, she meets Adnan, a 55-year-old retired banker in Frankfurt who's struggling to find purpose after retirement.

When Mouni improvises during the audition, and Adnan reacts genuinely, both are unexpectedly shortlisted. Moved by the power of acting, Adnan begs Mouni to teach him. A day-long video call becomes an unexpected acting class that unravels their pasts, fears, pain and joy — and leaves them changed.
