Where do you think the field of data visualization is headed, and where do you see yourself within that future?

"Even though we’ve been visualizing data for centuries—as a civilization, it’s practically in our DNA—data viz has been picking up serious momentum lately, and it feels like it’s on the verge of something big. Once you start paying attention, you realize: everything is data viz. It’s everywhere, hiding in plain sight.

I don't know if I play a role in the bigger scheme of things, but I know i am about to have a lot of fun. "
