Ignite Sustainability Workshop: Economic Modeling

Community leaders know the value of their work, but communicating that value in ways that funders, policymakers, and partners can understand is often the biggest challenge.

This fall, join New Sun Rising, RiverWise, and economic modeling experts from the University Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR) for the first Ignite Sustainability workshop: a virtual learning opportunity focused on how economic modeling and social return on investment (SROI) can empower community-engaged projects.

At this session, participants will:

• Learn why economic modeling is a critical tool for demonstrating project impact.
• Understand the types of data needed to engage in economic modeling.
• Explore how economic modeling can strengthen fundraising, advocacy, and community buy-in.
  
  

This session is open to all community-based leaders, organizations, and projects interested in gaining a deeper understanding of economic modeling. The workshop will serve as an educational opportunity, but participants will also hear how economic modeling work is being advanced locally by New Sun Rising and RiverWise.
