About this event

In this online IFS-informed Authentic Relating workshop, I'll provide an overview of Internal Family Systems (IFS), which is a revolutionary way of looking at the mind - as consisting of parts, rather than being a single thing - and getting to know ourselves in a deep/authentic way. We'll then split up into rotating pairs for various IFS-informed Authentic Relating exercises, which will focus on our relationship to anger - as well as joy! These exercises will enable us to deeply relate to each other in a parts-aware way - by speaking to each other about, from, and for our various parts, and allowing our parts to be truly heard and witnessed by another.

Terry Baranski is an Internal Family Systems practitioner who works 1-on-1, and in groups, with people all over the world to address their mental health challenges. IFS is an approach to therapy and self-growth which offers a unique perspective on the mind - one that opens the door to self-compassion and self-understanding rather than judgment and shame. It's a wonderful technique to help us get in touch with our true selves, see the big picture, and get to know our minds in a more intimate way.
