About this event
The Intrepid Museum invites current and former service members and the public to a screening of the documentary If You Can Ever Get Back. This captivating documentary tells the story of three US Army combat medics who served in Iraq’s “triangle of death.” Ten years later, they struggle to find their place in the civilian world and to lay to rest their wartime ghosts.
Following the screening there will be a panel discussion moderated by Matthew Ryba, Director of Community Outreach and Education at New York-Presbyterian Military Family Wellness Center and Marine Corps Veteran.
The panel will feature:
- Filmmakers: Taylor Lee Nagel, Emma Findlen LeBlanc and Philip Sands
- Film Participants: First Sergeant Robert Brady and Sergeant Kristina Hilstad
- Yuval Neria, PhD.: Director, PTSD Treatment and Research Program, Columbia University Dept. of Psychiatry, Director, Columbia-NYP Military Family Wellness Center
This program is free with advance registration. Registration will open on February 17.
