Project Bound Dance presents
If It’s Stuck, Shake It Loose
on February 17-19 at the Color Club
What do you do when your body is bursting? What do we do when we’re stuck?
Monotony, boredom, dissatisfaction, shame. We can’t fix it if we don’t address it first.
Project Bound Dance invites you to join us for IF IT’S STUCK, SHAKE IT LOOSE, our first live dance premiere since 2020.
Join us for a collective un-sticking from the ruthless monotony of the day to day drag.
Featuring Stacy DeMorrow, Kathryn Hetrick, Isabella Limosnero, Emily Loar, Ali Lorenz, and Sarah Morimoto. Choreographed by Ashley Deran and Emily Loar.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: The ballroom at Color Club is located on the second floor (up a flight of stairs). While the team at CC is working towards the addition of an elevator to the historic space, it is not yet accessible to those using wheelchairs or other similar mobility devices, and we apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any other accessibility needs or questions, please reach out and let us know how we can help you enjoy our performance fully.

About Project Bound Dance:
Under the direction of Ashley Deran and Emily Loar, Project Bound Dance is a Chicago-based modern dance group rooted in the practice of collaboration. Since its founding in 2013, Bound has created work that is both curious and accessible. Creating both live concert performance and dances for camera, Bound draws from both modern dance and somatic fundamentals. Incorporating vigor, athleticism, and intricate gesture exploration, Deran and Loar weave together the vision of two distinct artistic voices to create richly textured dance performance.
