IEP Facilitation

When considering the continuum of dispute resolution procedures, IEP Facilitation is considered the first foray, the mildest, procedure. However, presently, it is the least utilized. In this training, the Bureau of Special Education Support (BSES) will provide information about what circumstances might warrant a request for IEP Facilitation with the hopes of avoiding more significant or litigious dispute resolution procedures. Additionally, the training will provide an overview of what to expect throughout the process of IEP Facilitation. This training will also cover how special education administrators can submit requests for IEP Facilitation through the new myNHDOE system.
