IDEA Talks! Featuring Entrepreneur and Ecosystem Builder, Kim Freeze
Overview
Kim Freeze is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience launching and supporting ventures across diverse industries. As Director of the Southern Oregon Innovation Hub, she champions startup growth, ecosystem building, and entrepreneurial education. A community college professor and clinical psychologist, Kim blends academic insight with real world innovation, fostering entrepreneurial mindsets in students and founders alike. Known as an ideator, creator, coach, and dynamic presenter, she brings energy and expertise to every project she touches.
“Kim’s energy and love for entrepreneurs is unmatched,” said Darin Rutledge, Klamath IDEA Director. “Her work at the Southern Oregon Innovation Hub has led to a marked increase in entrepreneurial activity in the Rogue Valley and she has rallied community stakeholders to facilitate a highly functional entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our local entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners will be inspired by Kim’s ‘entrepreneurial mindset’ and her perspective on what it takes for a community of entrepreneurs to not only survive, but thrive.”
Modeled after TED style talks, IDEA Talks are designed for business owners, entrepreneurs, innovators, and anyone with an interest in the growing entrepreneurial culture in Klamath County. Attendees will gain fresh insights, actionable ideas, and meaningful connections to help strengthen their ventures and the local business ecosystem.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 20 at 5:30pm at the Brevada Annex (2229 N. Eldorado in Klamath Falls). Appetizers and two drink tickets are included in the $15 per person admission. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
