ICS 300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents
This course provides in-depth training on the Incident Command System (ICS) for personnel who may assume supervisory roles during expanding incidents. ICS 300 builds on ICS 100 and 200 by introducing the use of ICS for large and more complex incidents, including resource management, the planning process, and roles and responsibilities within the Command and General Staff. Participants will apply concepts in practical, scenario-based exercises.

Students must have an IEMA Training accounty log-in. All students must upload their FEMA pre-requisite courses to the IEMA training portal in order to recieved a certificate of completion.

Required Prerequisite Courses:

  • IS-100.c An Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100
  • IS-200.c Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200
  • IS-700.b An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
  • IS-800.d: National Response Framework (NRF)
