Do I have to be a member of this chapter or AAPC to join?

Will this be recorded?

No we are not allowed to record CEU meeting events. The slides are available as an add-on purchase item if you'd like to go back review after attending.

Will there be hands on learning?

Yes! Lectures are no fun. We will practice these guidelines as a group. Then test them individually so you can see how you do. And we'll have a group game and prizes to make sure you're having fun too!

Who should attend this workshop?

Everyone from student who just finished their ICD-10-CM class to experienced auditors. Everyone has something to learn and a refresher is always recommended. 'You don't know what you don't know' so often guidelines we 'know' we have misinterpreted. Plus annual updates happen.

Should I attend if I've never learned ICD-10-CM before?

No this is not designed for someone that has never seen an ICD-10-CM code book before. This is for those that have taken a class and need clarification to ensure it was learned correctly. Or those that need a refresher. This will not replace a course.
