About this event
The International Conference on Computational Social Science (IC2S2) is the premier conference bringing together researchers from different disciplines interested in using computational and data-intensive methods to solve problems relevant to society. IC2S2 hosts academics and practitioners in computational science, complexity, network science, and social science, and provides a platform for new research in the field of computational social science.
The conference will involve a one-day “datathon” (July 19) for students and scientists to collaborate and compete on a complex, data- and computation-driven research task. This will be followed by a full-scale three-day conference (July 20-22) featuring research and researchers from around the world, across a broad range of relevant fields, and working on all areas of computational social science to advance its many frontiers.
Unlike important social computing and associated computer science conferences, the IC2S2 community actively balances and maintains a conversation between social and computational scientists which integrates technological advances with social scientific rigor and insight.
**International discounted tickets will be available May 29, 2022.
**Student scholarships to cover conference fees are also available. To submit an inquiry please contact ic2s2.2022@gmail.com.
**Those who are full-time salaried research or academic professionals should register as "faculty." Exceptions are made for those in postdoctoral positions and may register as "student."
