This class is specifically created for Black Queer women and femmes, though all Black LGBTQ+ folks are welcome. It’s a space of softness, strength, and sacred stillness—no prior experience needed.

What should I bring?

Bring a yoga mat (or blanket), water, and anything that helps you feel grounded—a candle, crystals, journal, or favorite tea. You’ll also want to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and rest with ease.

Ibada Kamili blends gentle yoga, breathwork, and spiritual reflection rooted in African-diasporic wisdom. Sessions typically include grounding practices, slow intentional movement, guided breathwork, and a brief closing ritual.

We honor your life’s rhythms. You are welcome to join for as much of the session as you can, though we do encourage you to stay through the closing ritual if possible to receive the full energetic benefit.
