Bring your blasters, darts, and energy—we’ll be engaging in fast-paced games, exciting team challenges, and classic backyard-style battles. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts, try new gear, and enjoy the thrill of the game in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

A: I.A.N. is a community-run foam blaster hobby group based in Ithaca, NY. We host events for people who enjoy Nerf-style games and want to connect with others in a fun and active setting.
A: This particular event is 17+ only, due to the nature of the gameplay and safety standards. Future events may include family-friendly sessions!
A: Yes, we encourage you to bring your own foam blasters and darts. Loaners may be available in limited numbers, but please don’t rely on it.
A: Most stock and modded springer or flywheel foam dart blasters are welcome. High-powered HPA setups may require approval from the event organizer for safety reasons. No melee weapons or hyper/ultra rounds unless otherwise specified.
A: We recommend bringing your own standard darts (Adventure Force Waffle tips or Nerf Elite-compatible). Community darts may be available, but they’re limited and not guaranteed to work with every blaster.
A: Yes—eye protection is mandatory for all players, no exceptions. Bring safety-rated goggles or glasses.
A: Absolutely! Tactical vests, dump pouches, cosplay armor, and other gear are allowed if they’re safe and don’t obstruct movement or visibility/safety rules.
A: You’re responsible for your own food and water. We’ll have scheduled breaks, so be sure to bring a water bottle and any snacks you might want.
A: For now, no pre-registration is required; show up on time, geared up, and ready to play! But please check our Discord or socials in case of any updates.
A: Depending on turnout and player preference, we’ll run several game modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Infection, and Objective-based games.
A: Light rain won’t cancel the event, but in case of thunderstorms or severe weather, we’ll announce cancellations or delays on our Discord and social media pages.
