I Made My Coat A Mountain
Overview
I Made My Coat a Mountain:
A parade of clothing in the port.
Lela Jacobs and Natural Hand present; I Made My Coat a Mountain. A show celebrating Ōtautahi makers and their refreshingly human approach to fashion.
Venture through the tunnel to a historic corner of Ōhinehou Lyttleton, pick up a complimentary drink and enjoy a showcase of designers and artisans, featuring work from Being, Evan Beijnen, F.B.P.D, Lela Jacobs, Lyttelton Hat Co, Paige Jansen and 6x4. A community of established makers tapping common veins: intuitively responding to textiles through re-construction, expressive drapery and new perspectives in hand-crafts.
After the show from 2pm, join us next door in The British Hotel at Natural Hand where clothing from the show will be available to try on, buy, or behold.
