Maybe you've already signed up for the real deal and are now experiencing a healthy dose of "what-have-I-gotten-myself-into" jitters.
Fear not, you magnificent, fitness-curious human! Welcome to our HYROX Race Simulation, the perfect playground to test your mettle. It’s all the gritty glory and fun of a real HYROX event, but without the official race-day pressure or the 5,000-person crowd.
Think of it as a dress rehearsal for greatness, or just a ridiculously fun way to spend a Saturday.
So, What Exactly is a Race Simulation?
For those new to the game, HYROX is the world's biggest fitness race. It's beautifully simple, and uniquely challenging. The format is the same for everyone, everywhere on the planet. You complete a 1-kilometer run, then hit a functional workout station, and repeat that cycle EIGHT times.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves conquering the following:
- Run 1 km
- Station 1: 1000m SkiErg (Pretend you're a Viking in a hurry)
- Run 1 km
- Station 2: 50m Sled Push (Unleash your inner beast mode)
- Run 1 km
- Station 3: 50m Sled Pull (Basically, the sled push in reverse. Genius, right?)
- Run 1 km
- Station 4: 80m Burpee Broad Jumps (Everyone's favorite! ...said no one ever. But you'll feel amazing after.)
- Run 1 km
- Station 5: 1000m Row (Sit down for a bit. Just kidding, you'll still be working hard.)
- Run 1 km
- Station 6: 200m Farmer's Carry (Just a casual stroll through the park carrying heavy things.)
- Run 1 km
- Station 7: 100m Sandbag Lunges (Guaranteed to make you question your life choices in the most positive way.)
- Run 1 km
- Station 8: 100 Wall Balls (The grand finale!)

HYROX is the sport for everybody. It is a challenge, and that's what makes it fun. You are able to move at your own pace. As they say "some race to compete, some race to complete."
It all depends on your fitness level. The average finisher time at HYROX races last season was 01:32h. However, the race has no time limit: some participants take three hours, while the elite men and women finish under 55 minutes.
That’s where we come in! Here, at EFN our facility offers the perfect training environment to prepare for HYROX. We provide the workouts, programming, and the same equipment used in the event to ensure you will perform your best. + Intro classes and workouts every Saturday. eriefitnessnow.com/hyrox
Waves will start at 7, but we will start participants as they arrive. Please try and arrive before 9am if you plan on participating.
Yes! We love a good fan club. If your friends, family, or kids want to come support you - we welcome it! It can actually help to have a friend with you, they can hold your sheet and help mark down your times for you.
