About this event

Come make friends and learn to care for neighborhood street trees!

Make a lasting impact, meet great people, and learn about tree care. All are welcome to attend!

Trees are critical to human wellbeing, but city street trees need routine care to be good neighbors. We will care for trees to help them live long, healthy lives, shading our city.

Please bring a reusable water bottle to carry while volunteering if you have one.
New volunteers are equipped with tools, safety gear, and hands-on training. Neighborhood Foresters and our Blitzes operate with the support of the St. Louis Forestry Division.

Have fun and make an impact by volunteering with us!

NOTE: We meet at a City park with no public restrooms in the immediate area. The closest we are aware of would be the Phillips 66 (1113 Salisbury St) & BP (1110 Salisbury St) gas stations .5 miles east. They can be reached by going SE on N20th for .2 miles, turning left on Salisbury Street and continuing for .3 miles until just before you reach HWY 70.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly will we do?

Activities are seasonal. In spring, we top up mulch and fix improper mulching. In summer, we water young trees. In the fall, we mulch and inventory existing trees and, occasionally, plant new trees. Winter is pruning season.
