Overview
You must be a registered member of Twickenham Writers to attend this event.
What are you hungry for? Do you often bite off more than you can chew? This week, we’re taking a literal and metaphorical look at what it means to consume those around us – examining the ways hunger intersects with greed, love, power, money, guilt, and so much more.
Explore this theme in more depth:
- Hunger Pinterest board (includes the prompts we’ll use in this session plus many, many more)
- The Lamb by Lucy Rose (we love this modern literary folklore story for its exploration of hunger as a metaphor for love, but content warning that it features frequent depictions of cannibalism)
Please note: you must be a registered member of Twickenham Writers to attend this event. Non-members will have their ticket cancelled without warning. If you buy a ticket and later realise you're unable to attend, please cancel your ticket to make space for others.
