"Humans in the Loop" is a feature film about an indigenous woman in India who trains AI, and the clash between AI (ancestral Intelligence) and AI (artificial intelligence).

Chicago South Asian Film Festival is inviting you to the screening of Humans in the Loop, followed by a Q&A with Executive Producer Misaq Kazimi, on Sunday, December 28th at Matrix Club, Naperville.

The film has received Film Independent’s Sloan Distribution Grant, was named one of The New York Times’ Top 5 International Films on Streaming, won Best Film at CSAFF 2025, and is now on Netflix after its U.S. theatrical run. It is also in contention for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
