About this event

Community • Other

Human flourishing addresses factors of optimal well-being across multiple domains of life—psychological, relational, physical, vocational, and spiritual. It goes beyond the absence of illness or distress and emphasizes thriving.

Join us to learn about current research and practical projects that contribute to the human flourishing of individuals and communities. A special emphasis will be given to considerations of human flourishing for BIPOC communities. In addition, the role of faith in human flourishing will be explored. A panel discussion will allow for active participation of attendees. This event is geared towards professional and lay counselors, social workers, pastors/faith leaders, students of people-helping professions, and all who have a vested interest in the flourishing, growth, and improvement of their communities and the people who live in these communities.

This event does not qualify for NBCC CE credits.
