Armory Center for the Arts is excited to welcome you to our galleries for a safe, socially distanced, engaging art experience with the exhibition how we are in time and space: Nancy Buchanan, Marcia Hafif, and Barbara T. Smith.
Visitor Guidelines
The following Armory guidelines will help maintain a safe experience for everyone:
- No more than 20 visitors will be permitted in the exhibition at any given time. Some rooms have additional restrictions.
- With few exceptions, all visitors aged 5 and up must present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to a visitor's services representative at the front entrance. Visitors aged 5 and up without proof of vaccination will not be permitted in the building. Visit https://www.armoryarts.org/exhibitions/faq for a list of acceptable forms of vaccination proof.
- In accordance with the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) guidance, all guests are required to wear a clean face covering. Face coverings must be worn according to CDC guidelines and cover the mouth and nose. We recommend that everyone use a KN95, KF94, or N95 mask at the Armory. Cloth masks are less effective. Masks with face valves, open-chin triangle bandanas, and neck gaiters are not acceptable.

- The exhibition’s gallery guide, family guide, and press release are available via smartphone through the QR code in the gallery.
- Exhibition staff will be available to guide you through the exhibition, answer questions, or give you room to look on your own.
- Please reschedule your appointment if you have any of the following COVID-related symptoms: fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; diarrhea.
- You will receive a confirmation email and a reminder email prior to your visit.
- Please bring your ticket with you in either printed or electronic form.
- Please ensure all guests in your party are aware of the Armory's COVID safety protocols.

Parking Information
Up to 90 minutes of free parking is available at the public parking structure just north of the Armory on Raymond Avenue. Metered street parking is also available. Additional Old Pasadena parking options can be found here.
