Discover the keys to successful grant development at our upcoming seminar – “Essential Grant Writing Training.”Whether you’re new to grant writing or looking to sharpen your skills, this free, full-day session is designed to give community-based organizations and public agencies practical tools to compete for funding.

Supervisor Shanelle Scales-Preston, Contra Costa County District 5, invites you to join Dr. David E. Fraser—Public Administration faculty at Cal State East Bay, Chief of Staff to District 5, and author of Grantcraft—for an in-depth, hands-on exploration of the entire grant cycle. Participants will learn how to move from concept to funder alignment, design persuasive proposals, build logic models, create strong budgets, and design measurable evaluation plans.

New this year: Dr. Fraser will introduce an ethics-focused module emphasizing transparency, community alignment, and mission-driven storytelling. Complimentary refreshments, including coffee, pastries, and lunch, will be provided.
