With conflicting information online, self-proclaimed career experts and the everyday stress of life, it can be overwhelming, but look no further!
The Detroit Writing Room is partnering with The Resume Rescue to offer a resume writing workshop just for you.
This intimate workshop led by Angela Buccellato will teach you the do's and don'ts of resumes to stay current with job searching trends. She will guide you through each section of the resume to ensure you understand what recruiters want to see. You will also have the ability to curate your resume! You'll walk away from this workshop with an application-ready resume.
Resume Review Opportunity:
Attendees who would like feedback on their resume can email it by Sept. 8 to hello@detroitwritingroom.com. Angela will select a few resumes to offer feedback on during the workshop.

About Angela Buccellato
Going into college, Angela Buccellato thought she knew exactly what she wanted to do, but after changing her degree three times, she finally landed on a career path. After graduating college, she found herself feeling stuck and unsure of what to do next. There were numerous career paths, but what should she choose?
After working with transitioning military veterans, Angela identified a need in the market for real advice on how to write a resume. She started The Resume Rescue as a side business; she worked on nights and weekends. A few years ago, Angela had a toxic recruiting job that left her miserable. When she returned home from a beautiful two-week vacation to Italy, she found herself fired. Unsure of what to do, Angela pursued The Resume Rescue full-time.
Today, she and her team help thousands of job seekers from every walk of life "have their cake and eat it too" regarding their careers. Angela doesn't want anyone to ever feel miserable in their career as she did. The Resume Rescue offers various services, including resume writing, career coaching, interview preparation, LinkedIn workshops and more! Their clients typically see ~$30,000 increase in salary after working with them.
Angela has been featured on several podcasts and in articles and has hosted numerous workshops to help clients achieve their goals. Angela has her bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Penn State University and a master's degree in Military Psychology from Adler University.
