Shared Situations and Mobile ... 
You probably have some shared situations with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and other groups. It's likely your group's approach to those shared situations could be more effective, more interesting, more enjoyable and more sustainable. With smartphones and the Shared Situation Guide, we have new possibilities. 

Hands-On Event ... 
This event will include hands-on practice using the Shared Situation Guide with the Quip mobile app, as well as present the concepts involved. Using the guide can improve shared situations by helping your group relate more directly to the proximity and each other. It can also lead to greater sustainable variety, and it gives people chances to relate to the proximity in a wider variety of ways. You can learn more about the guide, and even try it on your own whenever you like, right here. 

What We'll Do 
You'll use the Quip app on your mobile with Shared Situation Guide documents you can keep and modify. I’ll show you the ideas and processes, and we'll find some examples most of the group can relate to. You can try things and ask questions as we go. The event is scheduled for an hour, but I'm willing to stay a half-hour beyond that for additional questions and discussions. Also, while Quip is not a new, untested app, the Shared Situation Guide is mostly still a beta, "being-tested" process, so I hope you'll be open to a new approach, provide some feedback, and be comfortable with a presentation that may be a little rough at first. What You'll Need
• The Quip app installed on an Android phone or iPhone. Android tablets and iPads can also be used. If you can, play around with Quip a bit before the session. 
• Strongly suggested for in-person attendees, and required for online attendees, is a computer (Windows or Mac) or tablet (Android or iPad). If using a tablet, get the AnyMeeting app. If using a computer, you can access AnyMeeting in a browser. In either case, some kind of headset will make for better audio. More on the requirements for computers can be found here.

There are not too many in-person spots, so sign up early. You'll be emailed further details closer to the event.

By signing up for this event, you agree to the ProxThink Terms of Use, which boring as it is, is probably the friendliest terms of use you've seen. Why? Mainly because parts of it, including the Proxri Deal, Collaboration Deal, Online Session Agreement and Intellectual Property Deal integrate some of the proximity thinking framework. This makes it a better fit for our networked world. 

About the Suggested Minimum Proxri 
You'll learn more about proxri at the event, as they're part of the ProxThink framework. If you want to wait to proxri or learn more at the event, choose the corresponding ticket type. Also, the suggested minimum proxri is not really the price of the event, as proxri are a different kind of thing. But don't worry, there is no set price or hidden fee. You'll see.
