Event description
We’re going to cover a lot today around the whats and whys of the dark web. That includes what the dark web is and why you'd monitor it.

About this Event

Hello, this is a virtual workshop on how you can use the dark web as a security ally.

I’ll be your instructor, my name’s David McHale.

I’m a security consultant, founder at HailBytes, and virtual CISO for Bridge Connector.

Please note that this workshop is pre-recorded.

If you have any questions for me, you'll be able to ask them during the workshop.

I'll answer them within 24 hours of the workshop.

You'll also have the opportunity to participate in group polls and surveys.

A copy of the slides and the recording of this workshop will be available for viewing immediately after the workshop concludes.

I'll send them out by email right after this workshop ends.

I hear a lot of fear, uncertainty and doubt when it comes to the dark web.

And I’m happy to say I don’t have much of that for you in this workshop.

We’re going to cover a lot today around the whats and whys of the dark web.

That includes what the dark web is, why you'd monitor it, what success looks like, and how you can monitor it yourself.

We'll look at some case studies in healthcare, software, and finance.

And discuss how to implement dark web monitoring technology in your security stack.

I look forward to seeing you there!
