Welcome to How to Tell a Ghost Story: A Spooky Storytelling Soirée!

Join us at University Heights Center Auditorium in the U-District on October 30, 2025 at 7:00 PM for a night of spooky tales.

Unleash your inner storyteller and share your most favorite ghost stories with fellow fans of the supernatural. Whether you're a master of suspense or a novice in the art of storytelling, this event is perfect for anyone wants to be spooked.

You're welcome to bring a ghost story you want to practice telling, or you can come ready to create a ghost story from scratch. Any ghost story ranging from the goofy to the bone-chilling is welcome! At the end of the night, you'll have the chance to get up onstage and share your ghost story in front of a small audience.

Costumes are welcome, but not necessary. It's going to be a night to remember!

GETTING THERE:

University Heights Center is conveniently located near the U-District light rail station & bus station. We recommend taking public transportation. There is limited free parking onsite as well as a paid street parking in the neighborhood. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance via the north parking lot, and the Auditorium is accessible via the elevator (get off on the 2nd floor).

This event will be held in the Auditorium on the 2nd floor. UHeights Center uses a keyless entry system that requires a security code to open the door. You will receive the door code via email a few days before your workshop.

ABOUT THE HOSTS:

This event is hosted by Improv for Real Life, a theatre education organizations that hosts events to build community in Seattle, in partnership with University Heights Center. To learn more, visit our website.
