Led by Angel Swanson (howtotalktoyourracistuncle.com), participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of how racism shapes American institutions, often without our conscious understanding that it is doing so. This series of workshops will help participants understand that the problem of racism isn’t a problem they themselves created, but a serious problem they have inherited and perpetuate everyday. Each session will include lecture, exercises, and a featured speaker. Times: 6:30-9:00 pm Fridays (2/23 & 3/2); 9 am-noon Saturdays (2/24 & 3/3).

Free so that all may attend, but an opportunity to contribute to the costs of bringing this excellent workshop to Bellingham will be available at each session. We welcome all, regardless of ability to pay.
