By Parent & Family University - Philadelphia
Online event

Overview

Master the art of tough conversations. Gain practical tools for sex-positive communication with kids and teens.

As parents, guardians, and adults who want to be safe sources of information for the kids and teens in our lives, it can be difficult to know what to say in the moment when we’re asked difficult questions. In this workshop, participants will learn and practice strategies for talking to youth about sex ed and other potentially-charged topics, as well as strategies for how to make themselves approachable as askable adults. Participants will also receive helpful resources and a copy of "Sex Positive Talks to Have With Kids" by Melissa P. Carnagey to facilitate those conversations.
