Want to start submitting your work for publication but aren't sure where to start? Need a step-by-step guide on submitting including cover letters, bios, and how to keep track of it all? Don't know where to find journals and presses with open submission calls? This workshop will walk you through the process of submitting from start to finish. Ticket sales from this fundraising workshop will benefit Mission Belonging programs for veterans, service members, military families, and health care workers. A limited number of FREE tickets for Veterans, Service Members, and Healthcare workers are available on a first come, first served basis. This workshop will be recorded and a link will be e-mailed to all ticket holders once the recording is available.*

*Recording will only contain workshop lessons. All other participant video will be edited for user privacy. Only registered participants will have access to the recorded workshop.

Courtney LeBlanc is the author of the four full-length collections, most recently Her Dark Everything and Her Whole Bright Life (winner of the Jack McCarthy Book Prize). She is the Arlington County Poet Laureate and the founder and editor-in-chief of Riot in Your Throat, an independent poetry press. She’s also the founder of the Poetry Coven, a monthly generative workshop she runs out of her home. She loves nail polish, tattoos, and a soy latte each morning.
