How to Submit a Winning Package for SBA's Small Business Week Awards

Nominate a small business or nominate yourself if you have an amazing story to share!

In this info session, SBA Public Affairs Specialist Norman Eng will provide an overview of the SBA's National Small Business Week Awards and share what it takes to submit a winning nomination package.

We will share ideas on how to answer some of the questions and review all of the required forms needed in order to be considered a complete package.

You will also see examples of winning packages from previous years and get your questions answered about the process.

STEPS TO NOMINATE A BUSINESS:

Nominator: Full Name /Phone/Email

Award Nominee: Full Name/ Business Name /Address /Phone /Email

Nomination Letter: Which category? How do they fit the criteria?

SBA District Office will contact the nominee to submit a package.

Our office presents national and district level awards. National-level awards, including Small Business Person of the Year, go on to compete for additional recognition and some winners are invited to attend ceremonies in Washington, D.C. The district level winners are honored locally.
