About this event

Are all your friends starting to think about jobs? Do your parents keep asking you what you’re going to do with your life? Have you been enjoying your studies so far and want to continue doing maths? Do you know how to effectively study remotely?

We’ve been in that situation and we’re here to help!

Join us for our first event, grab your lunch and come join our Zoom session on Wednesday 28 October 12:00-13:00 (GMT)!

We also want to give you a casual opportunity to gather information about the pros and cons of doing a PhD vs. going straight into a career or grad scheme. There will also be plenty of time for you to ask questions and speak with female PhD students about their experiences as women in mathematical research. We will also be talking about how to study effectively online and the best resources to help you manage your studies!

Our event is aimed at female/non-binary undergraduate or MSc students who are interested in mathematics or related disciplines, such as Computer Science or Physics.

After signing up you will receive a Zoom link to join us on the day of the event.
