Do I have to write about mental health?

No. You may write about any subject matter you like. This class is suitable for creative nonfiction writers and fiction writers.

Is this a writing workshop where everyone reads their writing out loud?

No. The material you write in class is specific to you and you don't have to share it with others. However, if you do have questions, I've saved about fifteen minutes at the end to go over them. (4-4:15 pm)

How much experience do I need for this class?

This class is for all levels. You can be brand new to writing or a seasoned pro.

How old do I need to be to attend?

This class is for adults 18 + years

Will the class be recorded.

Because sensitive topics may be discussed, the class will not be recorded.

Will Janine read the beginning of a piece I'd like to share on Bipolar She?

Yes, Janine will read your story idea after workshop and she will see if it's a good fit for the show.
