About this event

How to Speak Up, Shine on the Stage, and Create Real World Impact

Tuesday, July 22 7:00 - 8:00 pm ET

Vanessa Valenti and Courtney Martin co-founded FRESH (along with now silent partner, John Cary) a decade ago, and since then they've been bringing trickster energy (TM Tricia Hersey) to the thought leadership space in all kinds of joyful and generative ways. They've created an intentionally small speakers bureau filled with some of the country's true geniuses; an online thought leadership training program that breaks the mold on how to teach people to get out in the world and change it, and a lab where they are podcasting, substacking, and so much more. They've stayed besties, collaborators and weathered illness, divorce, and babies through it all. Come learn about all these innovations and their lifelong partnership!

ABOUT THE OPED PROJECT

The OpEd Project is a global thought leadership project that accelerates the ideas and impact of underrepresented voices, especially women of all backgrounds. We believe the best ideas, regardless of where they come from, should have a chance to be heard and change the world. We also believe the world is more intelligent when it is more inclusive.

We are a community of journalists, commentary writers, thought leaders and change-agents who actively share knowledge, resources and connections across color, creed, class, sexuality, gender, age, ability and beyond. We have been featured in most major media. We have stunning results. Learn more and join us at www.theopedproject.org.
