Event Details

Would you like an engaging way to capture and share ideas the next time you’re at a meeting or event? Would you like to save time with a method of summarising information quicker than using long swathes of text?

Sketchnoting is a creative way to take notes using lettering, pictures, shapes and much more. It’s a fun and versatile method of visual note-taking that helps you to summarise, capture and share lots of information quickly and effectively. In a world where time and attention are at a premium, it makes sense to equip yourself with this powerful communication tool!

The benefits of sketchnoting include:

  • improved memory and deep listening skills
  • help with sense making of information overload
  • opportunities for more creative ‘out of the box’ thinking
  • great for stimulating conversations and connecting ideas
  • improved drawing and layout skills (and you don't need to be an artist, either!)

If you’re ready to get the most out of your note-taking, meetings and events, join us for our ‘How to Sketchnote’ Workshop: a 1-day introductory course that will have you visualising your ideas in minutes.

Run by Graphic Facilitator and Designer Eleanor Beer, the workshop will provide you with an opportunity to discover the benefits and uses of sketchnoting in a friendly and relaxed environment, whilst equipping you with key sketchnoting tools and techniques, and plenty of time to practice.

Sketchbooks and pens will be provided (however, you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer) as well as refreshments, snacks and a delicious hot and cold buffet lunch at the Clayton Hotel restaurant.
