Hey folks! Our next workshop features Tyese Wortham who has been living with chronic Lyme disease for years now. As a dancer with a background in the cultural traditions of the African Diaspora, including Afro-Cuban and Afro-Peruvian, she’s developed a cultural movement-based healing system for those of us seeking to function without the daily pain and suffering of chronic illness, especially (QT)BIPOC folks. You’re invited to Tyese’s free 90-minute workshop, How to Reduce Your Pain, Boost Your Energy, and Move Confidently in Your Body Again, on Saturday, June 28th, 10am at Green Hive in Vallejo. You will walk away with a framework on how to move confidently in your body again, a self-assessment to determine where you are currently on your health journey, and exercises for your home practice.
