The ability to understand the elements of a site plan and why they are important is an essential skill for those who serve on planning boards, ZBAs and legislative boards, as well as other municipal officials. Attendees will learn how to read a site plan as well as explore the importance of each element within the larger picture of project review. Topics will include scale, topography, setbacks, parking, landscaping, lighting and utilities.
