Student Veterans, both prior enlisted servicemembers soon to graduate with the undergraduate degree, or generally commisioned officers soon to earn their graduate degrees, are often untapped talent pools for employers of all types.
In this panel discussion local Employers, both large and mid-sized firms, will discuss best practices on how they lead talent attraction, acquisition, hiring and retention. Panelists will discuss the support services offered, training and development and mentorship opportunities for newly hired Veterans.
“How to Hire Veterans” is a series of roundtable programs for the purpose of bringing together hiring managers and HR specialists who are committed to hiring Veterans. Through these programs, each employer will have an opportunity to share their ‘Veteran hiring’ best practices and challenges.
