How to Hem Your Own Pants

By Jeni Falldine

Overview

Learn a new superpower!

In this class you will learn how to pin up and hem a pair of woven (not stretchy) pants with a double folded hem.

We will measure hem depth and inseam length, remove stitching from the old hem, mark placement, then cut and sew.

This is an easy/intermediate level class that requires you already know how thread and use a sewing machine.

Bring a pair of non-stretch pants to hem if you want. Thrifted pants will also be available to practice on.

Group classes are held at 2004 1st Ave in Belltown.
