How to Create a Fresh Flower Compote Vase Arrangement
Dive into the art of floral design with our Fresh Flower Composition Workshop—a hands-on class designed to unleash your creativity while teaching the fundamentals of arranging fresh flowers like a pro. This immersive experience is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike who want to explore the beauty of floral artistry.
What to Expect:
Introduction to Floral Design
Learn the basics of balance, proportion, and harmony in floral arrangements. Understand the principles of color theory, texture, and layering to create visually stunning designs.
Selection of Materials
Work with a curated selection of seasonal fresh flowers, foliage, and unique accent pieces. Explore blooms like dahlias, roses, lilies, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus, and other greenery handpicked to complement each other beautifully.
Techniques and Tools
Master foundational techniques such as stem cutting, wiring, taping, and proper hydration methods to ensure your arrangement stays vibrant. Learn to use floral netting for a sustainable arrangement design.
Creative Freedom
Let your imagination flourish as you design your unique floral centerpiece arrangement. Receive guidance from a nationally accredited floral designer who will inspire and help refine your work.
About the Artist/Florist: Robbyn Repp is a nationally accredited floral designer with credentials from AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers) and PFCI (Professional Floral Communicators International), as well as over 20 years of experience in the floral industry. Specializing in floral education and wedding design, she is the proud owner of Petal to the Metal Flowers and works as a freelance designer. Additionally, Robbyn is an international speaker dedicated to inspiring and educating others in the art of floral design.
Each Participant will leave the workshop with a gorgeous floral design you’ve created, perfect to display at home or gift to a loved one.
All supplies are included in the class fee of $140.00
Length of Class: 1 hour & 45 minutes to 2 hours
Minimum Age: 18+ years old
*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.
*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.
*Food and Drink are available to purchase from the food truck(s) on-site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.
*Please check-in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.
