Enhance your rope play and skills with this hands-on workshop focused on the gote (also known as takate kote or TK)—a classic box tie that forms the backbone of many Shibari forms. This class is designed for those with some basic rope experience who are ready to deepen their skills in structure, flow, and intentionality.
We'll break down the fundamental elements of a safe and functional gote, while also exploring sequencing techniques that help bring a sense of rhythm, story, and emotional arc to your tying. Learn how to make each moment of rope feel alive, engaging, and meaningful—for both you and your partner.
Participants should come partnered. Prior experience with basic rope handling is recommended. Bring your own ropes; some class rope will be available if needed.
