How to Build Crown Jewel Patents that Outmaneuver The Competition
Overview
In today’s high-tech landscape, innovation moves fast — but smart IP strategy moves faster.
Target Prosecution is changing how technology leaders protect and monetize their inventions. Unlike standard patent filing, which simply aims for broad protection, Target Prosecution is a strategic and adversarial process that builds patent portfolios designed to counter competitor products, patent filings, and future technologies.
This masterclass will show how forward-thinking companies use Target Prosecution to identify threats early, build continuation patents tailored to competitors, and create a litigation-ready, licensing-strong portfolio — a true commercial weapon.
You’ll uncover:
- How Target Prosecution differs from standard patent prosecution
- How to map claims directly to competitor products to gain leverage
- The power of targeted continuations to stay ahead of emerging technologies
- How Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and patent attorneys collaborate to uncover Evidence of Use (EoU)
- Why the best tech companies rely on this model to secure billion-dollar IP assets
Target Prosecution is not about playing defense — it’s about shaping the battlefield.
If you’re ready to rethink how your organization approaches IP, this session will show you how to move from protection to proactive control.
