- Neri Karra Sillaman - As an entrepreneur, author, and advisor, Neri's work focuses on the intersection of business longevity, resilience, and impact. Her new book, Pioneers: 8 Principles of Business Longevity from Immigrant Entrepreneurs (Wiley, 2025), explores the unique insights immigrant founders bring to building businesses that stand the test of time, offering a fresh lens on leadership and sustainability.
A former child refugee, she has built a global luxury leather goods brand, Neri Karra, which continues to partner with leading luxury brands - now in its 25th year. Neri is now dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and established leaders navigate today’s complex business environment with creativity and purpose.
In her role as an Adjunct Professor, and Entrepreneurship Expert at the University of Oxford, Neri guides students and executives in transforming their ventures, focusing on resilience, adaptability, and ethical growth.
Neri is driven by a deep curiosity about what makes businesses last, how cultural diversity fuels innovation, and how purpose-driven strategies lead to impactful, lasting results. Her goal is to inspire leaders to build not just successful businesses, but meaningful ones that contribute to a better world.
