About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Have you ever heard of crevice gardening? This special kind of garden works great both in small spots like parking strips or as a large, spectacular landscape form! The crevice garden idea originated in the nooks and crannies of our Earth's exposed rocky places. Many delightful and unusual plants love this type of garden. Come and learn about making your own unique crevice garden! Saturday, Sept. 20 from 10am to noon.

Location: Pacific Park Natural Demonstration Garden. The park is located at 1515 NE 164th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684. HOWEVER, you will want to enter the property from the entrance located off NE 172nd. That puts you at the NE corner of the park where the demonstration garden is. Free.

Following the workshop, attendees will be asked to provide 45 minutes of service in the demonstration garden. Bring water and dress for the weather. This workshop is put in on collaboration with Clark County Public Works Green Neighbors Program. Contact: erika.d.johnson@wsu.edu / 564-397-5738.
