It's high maintenance, doesn't really contribute, and honestly... doesn't even look good. It's time to break up with your lawn. But how?
In this presentation, we will go over budget-friendly techniques for the do-it-yourselfer to ditch your lawn. We will address soil health, weed management, and what basic tools and equipment you can use to save yourself a bunch of money and get ready for your new garden.
This class will be led by Matthew Ampersand, founder of find out farms and CNPS certified gardener. Matthew has studied integrated pest management practices with the University of California's Agriculture and Natural Resources and has personally worked to remove many lawns in our region.
For privacy and to help ensure a quality experience for participants, this class will not be recorded.

$18 tickets are for you if you can meet your basic needs.
$7 tickets are if you're a single parent, you use EBT, cannot afford to take time off without financial burden, are an unpaid community organizer.
