Speakers: Isaiah Addair, Associate Attorney

Speaker Qualifications:

Isaiah Addair has experience working with humanitarian immigration, while most of his work has focused on T visas. Isaiah has worked with Helen Tarokic Law, PLLC, since May 2022 and joined full-time as an Associate Attorney in October 2023.Isaiah is originally from West Virginia. He moved to Virginia before graduating cum laude from Radford University with a degree in Criminal Justice. After graduating from college, Isaiah spent six months working as a foster care social worker where he gained experience managing a caseload, appearing in court, and advocating for child welfare. In 2020, Isaiah moved to North Carolina to attend the Wake Forest University School of Law. There, he participated in the Migrant Detention Center Pro Bono Project. Isaiah also participated in the Wake Forest School of Law Innocence Clinic where he reviewed closed criminal cases to advocate for individuals who were incarcerated yet maintained a claim of innocence, as well as the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic where he used the law to advocate for individuals who were experiencing medical crises due to legal problems in their lives.


Speakers: Srimayi Devulapalli, Clinical Professional Counselor

Speaker Qualifications:

Srimayi is a licensed clinical professional counselor with more than 13 years of experience supporting individuals and communities through therapy. She holds a master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which enables her to bring both clinical depth and a systemic perspective that considers not only individual experiences but also the influence of family, workplace, cultural, and community systems in her work.

Srimayi's practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and shaped by years of working with clients from diverse cultures, ethnicities, and life experiences. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu which enables her to provide therapy in different languages across communities, helping to make mental health support more accessible and inclusive.

Srimayi integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused interventions, and a humanistic approach, always grounded in compassion and resilience. Her deepest commitment is to provide therapy that empowers trauma survivors to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives.
