As you think about your children, your friends, your neighbors, the biggest threats to their faith are rarely direct attacks—they’re often slow, quiet influences that don’t even get noticed. School, movie theaters, smartphones, even church friends can create dynamics that aren’t friendly to faith. Daily rhythms and priorities get set by the secular culture, not by a perspective that sees God everywhere.

The result: self-described Christians living pretty much like the people next door. And a strong pull toward idolatry, skepticism, and practical atheism.

How can we help the people we love hold onto their faith, and their Christian identity? How do we help them stay within (or come back to) a firm Christianity instead of a practicing secularism?

The Colson Center is pleased to offer our next short course, “How Not to Be a Secularist.” It will take place on four consecutive Tuesday nights beginning October 1. The cost is just $49 for all four webinar programs. This four-week short course will equip Christians to understand the secular world around them, and keep a grasp on their Christian identity even when swimming upstream.

Each short course session begins at 8 pm ET, and goes for an hour and a half. A half-hour Q&A session is included. And if you miss a session, don’t worry: We’ll send you a link so you can watch a recording at your convenience.
