BIOS:

REBEKAH - Rebekah Kouy-Ghadosh is a San Francisco-based actor, singer, and comedic writer who has graced stages across the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, London, and Paris. Her sketch comedy group Best Frenzy has performed at San Francisco Sketchfest, Endgames Improv and Haight to Laugh. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the American Conservatory Theater (ACT). This is her first solo show. She is ecstatic to be directed by Edna Mira Raia whose meticulous work has deepened each of the characters. EDNA - Edna Mira Raia is a professional comedian with a foundation in clown, mime, sketch and improv. She won Best of SF Fringe in 2018 for her solo show, “Altars for my Alters.” She made her directorial debut at USF in 2006, and has since directed her long-running sketch comedy series, “Edna in a Bottle,” co-directed two haunts at the Winchester Mystery House with Mystic Midway, and assistant directed “In the Blood” at USF with Paul Flores. More recently she provided dramaturgy for and directed “La Mamá Chingona” by Marcia Aguilar-Kailan for 3 Girls Theatre and Natasha Kaluza's “49/51.” Edna is thrilled to be directing Rebekah and her delightful cast of characters and hopes you enjoy the experience as much as we did creating it.

Ipsheeta Furtado is a technology entrepreneur with a decade of fintech startup experience, and a writer and theater artist. She weaves the supernatural, counter-culture female characters, generational paradigms, and the tech economy into her work. Influenced by the Central Works Method, she serves on the Boards of Shotgun Players and 3Girls Theatre Company. An alumna of VONA and SF Writers Grotto residencies, she co-founded The Network Effects Theater (incubated by PlaygroundSF). Ipsheeta is Meisner-trained and performs in musical theatre and improv. Her published poetry, sewing, and dance classes are on Instagram @_ipsheeta. She holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from UC Berkeley.
