How I learned to stop worrying and love being a project architect

About this event

Join the discussion about what it means to be a career architect, the philosophy behind performance of the work and the search for meaning in the day-to-day. The program will follow a veteran project architect through the stages of their career including education; first job; career disillusionment, mistakes, and successes. The program is targeted at emerging professionals in the 7-10 year range who are trying to find the groove and satisfaction in their career. It can also be informative to project managers who need to understand the career stages people are in and how to mentor them.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the key philosophical fabric for performing as an architect in a leadership role;
  • Explore how to set and achieve career goals;
  • Examine how to overcome career malaise;
  • Discover how to become an effective and confident decision maker.
