Event description:

The Data Driven Districts (DDD) dashboard is one of South Africa’s biggest education databases. For more than a decade, it has supported education officials across the country in making data-driven decisions for learner success. But has this led to real results?

Please join ideas42, in collaboration with New Leaders Foundation, on Thursday, 23 October at 3 PM SAST / 1 PM GMT / 9 AM EST as we share the findings of our research study on the impact of DDD on data-led education over the past 13 years.

As one user put it, “If DDD disappeared, it would be a disaster, because what we have learned from it has changed how we make decisions. Without it, we would be making decisions from a blank space.”
