What information is gathered from me?

No franchise consultant or broker should ever ask for your social security number or other government assigned IDs. That will only be required when it is time to officially apply for funding ort start investment contracting process.

What kind of financial information is gathered for pre-qualifying information?

If you are interested in SBA loans, expect to confirm you have over 690 credit score, $17K cash for down payment, and $50K within reach (for you and spouse). Other pre-qualifying info is limited to high-level balance sheet totals like cash, 401K bal, total credit card debt, mortgage balance, etc.
