Hotspells Field Trip: Explore Pala Mining District

Join me for a 2 day exploration of Southern California's Pala Mining District located in San Diego County.

Those who wish to camp on Day 1 will get to lend a helping hand at my friends Sunset Hideaway Farms. Our work will be rewarded with a farm fresh meal and camping under the stars before getting an early start on Day 2 to the Oceanview Mine in search of quartz, and precious gemstones like tourmaline, aquamarine, kunzite and more!

2 Day Camping Trip includes:

• Helping out on a working farm
• Farm fresh dinner
• Camping under the stars
• Light Breakfast - Coffee, fruit & breakfast bars
• Oceanview Mine Dig & Tour
• Digging equipment provided by the mine
• Lunch

Day Trip includes:

• Oceanview Mine Dig & Tour
• Digging equipment provided by the mine
• Lunch

Transportation and camping gear are not provided. Guests are responsible for driving to and from event. Those camping are responsible for bringing their own tent and sleeping bags. Oceanview mine will provided needed equipment for the dig. Anyone attending the full 2 day trip has the option to meet at Hotspells shop and caravan together to Sunset Hideaway Farms.
